A closer view
of the 'Barn Site'. The building in the foreground was home to Civilian
Air Control during 1944 and 1945 and the mounting for their radio aerial
can be seen on the flattened roof. The protruding window was constructed
after they moved in to improve views, although most of the airfield was
out of sight.
